UNICEF to Fund Groundbreaking Disability Inclusion Leadership Training Program for OKU in Malaysia

The Malaysia Independent Living Association for Disabled (MILAD) is proud to announce the launch of a pioneering Disability Inclusion Leadership Training (DILT) program, aimed at empowering 16 persons with disabilities (OKU cardholders) to become certified trainers and national advocates for disability inclusion.


This 18-month initiative is generously funded by UNICEF, with technical support from DET Forum, Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD), and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The program is the first of its kind in Malaysia designed exclusively for persons with disabilities, equipping them to become professional trainers under HRD Corp certification standards.
